External display for the ipod

I need some advice. I currently travel around doing comedy magic and use my ipod with an air click remote. The ipod is hooked into a larger speaker system of course. I'm wanting to find a way to get an external display, so I can know what track I'm on. All it needs to do is next/back track, play/stop/pause. Just like the airclick.

I found this.

However, it's made for cars so I don't know if it would even work for me. For one the power has to be altered to be able to be plugged in. Not even sure if it would work, but it was the only thing I could find. If this would work, it would be great price-wise. I have found a couple places that sell these devices for close to $1000. Like this one.

I just didn't know if it was possible to rig something up like that. It seems like a simple fix, but hard to find. If the display could be wireless that would be great, but anything would do.

I didn't know where to ask and this seemed like the main ipod board on the web, I thought you may have some answers.

Thanks, and any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I believe with a DLO dock, you can replicate the iPod's display to an standard external monitor, sized to your heart's content.
