Has anyone seen an iPod cable with 2 USB?

I have a Philips DVP 5960, which has a USB on the front, so you can play DIVX movies off memory sticks and external HD's.

It is USB 1.1 without much power so you need your HD to be powered and some USB memory sticks don't work.

What I want to try and see, is if I hook up my nano so that is plugged into the wall socket with one cable, whilst another is running to the DVD player.

I believe it is something like the dual usb firewire cables that you can get, but I am looking for a dual USB version, as my non-apple charger uses a USB connection.

Cheers

There is a dual USB-FW cable from Apple, and u can charge via FW while data-in from USB.

Now, have u ACTUALLY hooked up your Pod to the Philips yet? Other than the Shuffle, The Philip probly won't read any of the songs put there by iTunes. iTunes-placed songs, other than Suffle, are in a propriatary format that a "normal" receiver can't deal with.

Cheers for that.

It's for playing movies, so going to try and use it as an external HD or flash drive.

It isn't in the list, but can't hurt to try. Going to now see if anyone I know has one.

Had used a Lacie HD to play movie off, but that wasn't mine.

Doesn't hur to try.

USB1.x though, mathematically not enuff for DVD-quality video. That requires around 20mbit/sec.
