I bought a song and it dissapeared?
So i bought a song with my iTunes credit(which was 20 dollars...so i have 19.01 now) and the song started to download and it seemed fine...after it was finished dowloading i went into my purchased playlist to listen to it..and it was not there..so then i search my library and it was not there? so i go and search my iTunes music folder and it was not there? where did it go?

Contact iTunes Store customer service via Apple support and tell them what happened:

There is a chance it didn't download properly. You can check for purchases from the store menu before you contact customer service and see if it redownloads.

This has happened to me on at least two occasions.
Try going to your iTunes music folder and searching for a folder simply entitled "downloads". I purchased the digital Stevie Wonder boxset (which cost nearly $200!) and much to my dismay, two songs did not download properly, nor did the digital booklet. I ran a search of protected content and found two untitled protected files and a pdf file in a "download" folder. I imported them to iTunes and they were in fact the "missing" files. No tag information was present.
I'm not sure why this happened. Perhaps the songs were improperly tagged or there was some other glitch. I gave them the proper tags and everything was fine.
If you can't locate the folder, try running as search for either ".aac" or ".m4p", without the quotes of course.
