I'm trying to write a script in which iTunes is used as an event trigger for a different application.
iTunes is playing through a playlist. I'm trying to use applescript so that whenever iTunes finishes a track and moves on to the next, it triggers an action in a different application. Any ideas how I can do this? The script also needs to be constantly monitoring iTunes, because the timing is very important (ie iTunes needs to trigger the event exactly as it moves on to the next track). Thanks for the help!
