iWrap arrived for my iPod touch

Announced on the main site (http://ilounge.com/index.php/news/comments/iwrap-debuts-covers-for-new-ipod-family/) just over two weeks ago, I decided to give these a try for my new iPod touch. They arrived about two weeks after ordering them (all the way over to Australia!), and as long as you follow the enclosed instructions or the application video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YADR9MwYjf4) on the iWarp site it's pretty straight forward.

Not much else to say other than it adds a sticky tactile feeling to the touch (which I assume is common to all the other film type screen covers), which doesn't negatively affect how it reacts, in fact it may even improve the pinching on safari, and scrolling.

Anyway, here are a few pictures of a before and after if anyone's interested - not very much difference.

I ordered one after reading about it too, I got mine on friday. It sucked though because my ipod's screen was fine until the day I got the iwrap, right before I put it on I noticed a new scratch in the glass. After applying the iwrap though I can't see the scratch, the adhesive or iwrap solution must have filled it in. It does give a different feel to the touch screen, but it's not really bad at all.

Why does the picture with iWrap have a lot of dust on it, does iWrap attract dust.

welcome to the lounge :)

That was probably just me and my dusty fingers!! I wouldn't say that it attracts dust, but any that does get on it, is easy enough to wipe off. same with fingerprints.

is it like two pieces, one for front and one for sides and back.
was it easy to install the corners.
and is there any area that is not covered.
sorry I'm asking so many questions, I'm just trying to decide what skin to buy.
thanks

that's okay!

It actually comes in three pieces - one for the front, one for most of the back (including sides) and one to cover just the antenna bit (black are on the back).

As long as you follow the instructions (they've got quite a good video on their site) and keep the iWrap quite moist whilst positioning it, it's pretty straight forward, though a bit fiddly.

The only other exposed bits is the grey metallic area on the iPod touch ie the 'frame' around the main part of the screen, which also includes the area around the dock and headphone port.

Do you have any pictures of the back? I'm trying to figure out wether or not there is a seam going down the back from the 2 edges of the iWrap meeting, like there is in the application video.
