Ipod Touch Cases... WHEN?

I know Belkin, Griffin, and others are working on some sweet cases for the touch, but when should be expect to see them hitting shelves?

I'd definitely like to know as well. The Apple Store has no idea at this point. I don't wanna even carry it around until I can get a case for it.

I ordered the suede sleeve from Waterfield Designs (linky here ( http://www.sfbags.com/products/ipodsuedejacket/ipodsuedejacket.htm)) last week and received it just a couple of days later. I just wanted something simple to protect it while on the move, so I'm happy.

I'm actually waiting to see what the iSkin line of products will be like as I've always had great experiences with them for my past 3rd gen iPod. They always seem to release great products.

belkin has 2 armband cases and a leather folio case up for preorder on their website for the touch. it says ships on 10/15. expect them in stores around that time.

Thanks for the Waterfield Designs link - just ordered the SmartCase (Clip) for my 3G Nano and the SmartCase (SLIP) for my Touch, both in black, they look very very nice and seem to offer good protection.

I'm doing the exact same thing, except i just got a black slip for my touch and then ordered a iPod carry case as well

I picked up an iphone case from a mall kiosk for $20. I looked at the $40 and $50 pouches at the Apple store but actually liked the cheaper pouch better. It fits the touch really well.

Going to order a Best Skin Ever if they ever release the right size as well. Leaving the original protective plastic in place on the Touch until then.

I ordered a Invisi shield total kit, and until it comes in I'm using just a apple sock. But I want to stay with something thin for in my pocket

The Belkin Arm bands look pretty good. I wonder why they are different material but the only difference is the headphone holder.

Well, considering my WiFi router is in my basement, and I can still get a signal (be it a weak one) in my neighbours house, I don't think a few millimeters of wood would make much of a difference.

I only ask because one guy some how fixed some of the packaging to the back of his touch in lieu of a cover until they come out and it blocked his wifi access so he had to cut a hole in it.

I also love Decalgirl.com and that is where I ordered one for my Touch, Zune, Wii and laptop. They have all held up great!!! And plus, it's even better to support a local :)

Funny you should say that I just asked them if they were going to be adding more to the Touch like like they did for the iPhone and they told me to stay posted. So i'm sure something is on it's way...lets hope soon

Well at least you heard back from them - I've emailed them twice in the past two weeks and never gotten a response. :(

Needless to say, when they released their first "case" for the Touch was a massive disappointment.

Though "stay posted" isn't exactly a clear response :p
