Invisible Shield - Couple of quick questions
OK, so I'm looking into buying an Invisible Shield protector for the iPod touch, however, before I bought it I was hoping someone who has one could answer a couple of quick questions. It's my understanding that they are not yet available for the iPod touch, however, any knowledge from prior iPod models could help me out...
First, does the protection over the screen increase the amount of glare on the screen? If so, does it increase it a significant amount?
Finally, does the invisible shield show finger prints any worse than the screen without the invisible shield?
Thanks for your help.
# 1 Re: Invisible Shield - Couple of quick questions
I purchased the InvisibleShield and have applied to a 16g touch - front and back. I find no problems with glare on the screen so far, but I have been using indoors mostly. I have noticed that there is far LESS smudging and fingerprints with the shield and what there is cleans up very easily.
Noteworthy: the skin also makes the ipod less slippery in your hand - a good thing from my pov. It just doesn't cover the screen - it covers the entire surface side to side. I had previously purchased a case to protect against falls, etc. However, the case was a slim case so it was tight. Now with the InvisibleShield skin on the touch you cannot easily place the touch in the case or take it out. So I am hunting for a 'pouch' of some sort that is not so tight to protect it if I accidentaly drop it.
If you decide to get the sheild make sure you are in a lint free area (as stated in the instructions) or, you'll have a permanent attachment.
