Starbucks iTunes Store

I was in a Starbucks on Friday and lo and behold there it was... the Starbucks iTunes store. It's pretty cool. They had the new Springsteen album and a bunch of other ok stuff but the really cool thing is that it displays for sale what is actually playing. I'm sure everyone knew this stuff but i wwas happy to see it in action. cool stuff.

Yeah, except to be honest, I don't usually pay too much attention to Starbucks music. The music there isn't as "active" for my tastes. They usually play calm songs and never any upbeat, rock, songs.

In most of the starbucks I go to I can barely hear the music they're playing, let alone form an opinion about it. Seriously, I don't think I've ever even noticed the music that starbucks plays.

Every now and again they're playing some classic jazz that I want to know more about. When they play anything pop or rock it's usually garbage. It would be way cooler if you could use your Touch/iPhone to order your drink.

With the Starbucks iTunes store as I understand it you'll now be able to hear the current song directly through your touch or iPhone. Interesting idea.
