Coverflow behavior on the Touch

I'm listening to my Touch in the Coverflow view (landscape).
After the song ends and it moves to the next, the album cover and title stay the same as the first song played.
Huh?
Am I doing something wrong?
There is no way that is normal (i.e. designed to do that).
I would think when the next song comes up, it flips to the correct album artwork.
Is this happening to anyone else?

Yeah, I wondered about this myself. Because it's really nice to put it on the stand when I am listening at work, but you have to put it landscape because the headphone port is on the bottom for portrait orientation. However, the album never changes, unless you turn it to portrait when the new song comes on, then back to landscape. But that doesn't seem right.

Probably yet another bug, should be fixed in a firmware update...in a few years:shake:

What stand do you have? Is that the plastic thing that came in the box?

It also sometimes displays over the cover art a song name/artist combination that is incorrect. Very buggy software. Guess they spent all their time locking it down instead of testing their actual code, the jerks.

Yeah, just the little plastic stand. I know I could buy a dock, but eh, I don't wanna spend any money on that. I actually found out if I prop it into my daily calendar (you know, like the daily Far Side or whatnot) that holder works awesome. And it's the perfect size.

I just wish the headphone jack was on the top side, by the sleep/lock button.

The stand was probably just for watching videos since that HAS to be in landscape. I would use a dock for at work for music listening. That way you can charge it and place it in portrait mode while music's playing.

Doesn't seem like they intended coverflow to be anything more than a way to choose your music. That much is obvious since there's basically no controls in that mode. Not really good design, though. They should make it update coverflow automatically. Doesn't iTunes do that?
