buy at one best buy....exchange at another best buy?

Yeah they shouldn't give you any trouble. I bought my week 37 in Illinois and returned it to a Wisconsin Best Buy.

I don't think there is a way apple shipped both week 37 and 38 so the only way would be to call Best Buy and have someone look at the boxes.

I have 30 days to take it back though dont I? Im not familar with how best buy return policy is. If I can wait 30 days then I will just continue to use the one I have now until close before the 30 days is up that way there will be more time for the good ipod touches to hit the shelves.

The hardest part about buying a week 38 is that you have to ask the employees to either look for the Macy Gray box (and good luck finding someone who knows who Macy Gray really is) or asking someone to check the serial number. Both things that most employees won't be psyched to do.

Yeah I dont think I would want to call and ask them to do that. Since the best buy in memphis was sold out of ipod touches this past sunday when I was lookin for one...and now they have them in stock...shouldn't they be the good ipods? Because it would have to be a new shipment I would think.

so what if the touch I got from best buy (with the bad screen) got some scratches on the back chrome? Would I still be able to return it? I haven't been able to make a trip to memphis to exchange for the corrected touch.
