Image zooming question. Touch as a comicbook reader.

I want to use the iPod Touch as a comicbook reader. Since my returned iPod Touch had the black level problem, I was wondering when zooming in a picture is the image more blocky on the touch than the iPhone? Is the iPhone better at viewing images when zoomed? I read somewhere that the iPhone is better at viewing images. My concern is that I cannot read the text in the scanned comic book images on my iPod Touch. If this has something to do with the bad first batch of iPod Touches, do you think this will be fixed and I will be able to read the text with ease?

Thanks

If u can read the EXACT images fine your PC but not on iTouch, then I don't like that.

I'd assume it has everything to do with how detailed the actual picture is. If it's 480 x 320 then when you zoom it's going to be blocky, but if it's like, 2000 x 2000 then you'll definitely have some level of detail when you zoom.
