What people are using to determine if they have a negative black issue:

What's odd is that on my laptop LCD if I tilt screen a certain angle the image looks completely black.
It seems to be an issue with an LCD screen in general. Or maybe my work laptop is defective now. :shake:

No one gives a crudshoot about your laptop. This is an iPod touch thread. You obviously don't know what you are talking about. Get your hands on a unit and then look for yourself.

All LCD's do this when you view them off-axis. Some are worse than others (hence the marketing of 'viewing angle'). No LCD should do this when looking straight at it, though.

Yeah, Dim's got it right. I hope that the preorders coming out will turn out fine, if not, I guess I will be waiting till next year.

Wow, you're a tool. I was being facetious. You were just being an ###.

BTW, I've had my Touch since Monday.

Since my device doesn't have the issue when looking straight on it proves my initial point. Or maybe I just got lucky.

Either way, enjoy waiting. ;)

I don't need to wait, already had one also lol. I thought you were talking about your laptop instead of the touch and was just being plain off topic. Guess its just a misunderstanding thats all.

That's why you don't just jump on someone out of nowhere. :)

It's a good picture to use as an example. If you have access to a Touch/iPhone, navigate to the Black album on Amazon and check it out.

Thanks for the post, I am going to use this once I get mine on the 21st. I will post right away if mine is a good or bad screen, I will put up some pictures to. They won't be too good quality though.
