So BestBuy isnt getting a second shipment until October

All the BestBuys that got an early shipment last Thurs/Friday, now aren't getting more until Oct 1st or so. At the earliest sometime middle of next week. Interesting.

Yeah they told us we werent even getting any until the end of September anyway.. and somehow we got them early on the truck. I dont think they are going to be on the truck tonight.. i believe we are just getting them close to the end of the month or beggining October.

Perhaps its because of fixed up screens? Ah whatever.

Apparently the Best Buy's that did not get any shipment, will get them on Thursday, meaning it'll be in stock on Friday. At my local store, they will be getting a shipment of 25 16GB units.

I've called 3 Bestbuys, one has none and said they have no idea when they will be arriving and the 2nd store (2 hours away) had one 8GB (I really want a 16GB), and the 3rd BB said they wouldn't be getting any for like 2 weeks...

Seems every store has there own response etc.

I really want to buy on Friday or Saturday, but would prefer buying from Bestbuy. Should I just order online through BB? I really want to get it before Oct 5th.

So of the three which I visited in person: Two of them received units in that initial shipment last week and have sold out. One did not receive any. That one expects touches Oct 1st/2nd. The other two expected a 2nd shipment this week but updated inventory shows not until next week (which means they probably won't really see a second shipment until Oct 1st/2nd either).

The shipment varies from store to store. I say give your stores a call on friday night because they come wednesday and friday.. no one really tells us when we're getting them.. if they even know themselves.

The thing wasn't even supposed to be out until the 28th so something's kinda off already.

Tuesday and Thursday deliveries around here but they get stuff on the shelves Wed and Fri.
