Will MSN or other IM clients be available on the touch?
Will the new ipod touch support MSN messenger? Or will people who want to use instant messaging clients be forced to use sites like meebo.com to access their contact lists?

Hi and welcome to iLounge.
At this point, there has not yet been any 'chat' client announced for the iPhone or iPod touch, so sites like Meebo are the only real alternative now.
That having been said, Meebo does work very well through the iPhone and iPod touch web browser. The only thing you're really missing is 'always-online' presence, which is obviously of less relevance on the iPod touch, since you'll only be online when you're within range of WiFi anyway.

The currently-in-beta Trillian Astra has a made-for-iPhone website. Currently it's only the Astra network and AIM but the rest is coming shortly.
