new nano synching is never ending

Hi!!

Just got a new nano w/ video (4gb), I updated to the latest version of itunes and updated my ipod to 1.0.2.

When I hook it up to my computer, itunes synchs and adds everything that was missing to the ipod. The problem starts when after it adds everything it just continues to say synching with the the spinning arrows next to the ipod name. I can eject it and force it to stop and then use my ipod as normal but wondered if anyone else had experience this?

Yes, this was very noticeable to me as well. I upgraded from the 2 Gig Nano and I was thinking that it was just that I had 4 times as much data loaded on it.

Have you tried downgrading the firmware?

I have not tired to downgrade the firmware (and don't really want to). Manually stopping the synching works, it just isn't how it is supposed to work.
