Audible.com audiobooks disappear from the [audiobooks] menu
I have an 8G ipod nano using software version 1.1.3 and have had a problem of my audible audiobooks disappearing from the audiobooks playlist. If I go to [music][[songs], I have to scroll through 800 or so songs to get to my audiobook. But ever now and again, they will reappear in the audiobook playlist. (This is not a playlist I setup, this is the audiobooks selection in the main menu of the ipod.) The books play fine when I go to [music][songs], but I do not want to have to scroll through that much music just to get to my audiobook(s). I know I can create a playlist for my audiobooks, but I want my ipod to work the way it was intended.
I use the audible.com service and these are all my books. I do not swap music or books and all my audiobooks have audibles DMR protection. I have searched the Internet and this forum with not very much luck on this subject.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Is there a fix for it?
And yes, I have tried multiple times to reset my ipod by pressing the middle and up buttons until the ipod resets. If there is another way to reset/reboot the ipod nano 2nd, I'm all ears.
