Nano and Classic Click Wheel?

Got to play with the Nano today is Best Buy. Awesome little device and the screen is beautiful.

I noticed that the click wheel around the center felt very sharp and had a raised plastic edge. Did they change the click wheels? My first gen Nano isn't this way and my Ipod video 5.5 doesn't feel like that.

they did raise the click wheel just a bit, especially on the bottom, because the metal casing curves at the bottom front of the nano, while the click wheel remains flat. i think this was probably to make it easier to use. they also made the click wheel smaller; i noticed this immediately because i have fairly large thumbs.

Well the centre button is concave, so that might make a difference. Also, the actual texture of the wheels on aluminum iPods is totally different to the texture of wheels on plastic iPods. I prefer the aluminum ones by far.
