I'm fixing my daughters 1stG ipod mini, the drive crapped out (but came back to life) and the click wheel doesn't always work.

So, I've got it opened, but have a couple of questions:

1. Are the 1G and 2G click wheel cables compatible.

2. Are the 1G and 2GB click wheels compatible

3. Can i use a 8GB drive to replace the current 4GB.
