Vaja Cases Classic Dockable - anyone have one?

All the talk on the Vaja cases finally caught up to me... I'm in the 10 day holding cycle for a 'Classic Dockable' case in Vitelino leather.

I have seen all the reviews for the ivolution, as well as the classy looking Top SP Holster... but haven't seen any press/forum reviews about the Classic Dockable. I figured there would be lots of folks who prefer to have the option to leave their cases on while they charge their iPhones on the dock.

I'll be back to update this in a couple weeks, but until then, is there anyone with real-world experience?

Cheers!

I have one. I just got it yesterday and its niiice.
It fits incredibly well and has a real 'classic' quality that complements the ultra high tech iphone.

sorry about the lack of detail in that post.

It looks great, smells very nice and fits like a glove. You can really perceive the perfection in this case in every way...it just exudes quality.

If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to answer them. But its a pretty straightforward design with very HQ craftsmanship.

Wow... nice case, nice pics....

I had a hunch that the case would be pretty awesome...

Tell me this:

Is is truly dockable without fear of damaging the leather/putting strain on the phone?

Does it even come close to getting in the way of the keypad when text entry is needed? (I use my phone for writing long e-mails and am very sensitive in finding a case that doesn't impede the quick flow I have acquired with the touch-screen keypad.)

Man, black was a nice choice. I was thinking of exploring some more unorthodox colors, but that just looks like it belongs on the iPhone...

Nice- thanks for your past and future replies.

Q: Is it truly dockable without fear of damaging the leather/putting strain on the phone?

A: Yes it is truly dockable. No I cant promise that it wont crease or damage the leather. I actually havent really used the dock more than a few times. I am a bit skeptical that the snug fit wont do any damage (to the case only, not worried about the rock-solid iphone). But, so far, it hasnt.

A: It depends on your finger size. It has actually HELPED my typing by giving me a tactile boundary that I can feel, making my space bar hits and enter hits much more reliable. Before I couldnt feel where anything was and would often miss these critical keys (spacebar is very important to the typing recognition software guessing your words correctly). If you have thick fingers, the high (2mm) border around the bottom three sides of the keypad may get in your way. Its just about the limit for my fingers. My take is that its not a problem...for me.

A: Yes it looks great. The only thing is, it has a kind of generic look about it when in black and can easily be mistaken for a cheap low quality case by someone whos never heard of Vaja. If I could do it again, Id get a more unique color to signify the uniquely beautiful and high quality characteristics of this case, maybe the light tan or green. Still, I love it because its beautiful and fits like it was made with love.

In all, I recommend this case *highly*

Nice- thanks for your past and future replies.

A: ...Sure ;)
