vaja ivolution holster and ladies holster - mini Review

I really like this case. I am concerned that the speaker is partially obstructed. I emailed vaja and am waiting for a response.

Yah i ordered mine, cant wait for it to come in. I got it in vibrant green, which is my favorite color. I didnt add any frills though, but vajas shipping kicks your butt, 17 dollars is a lot ofmoney for shipping. I cant wait for it to come in (even though it will be like a month).

Well, when i first opened the box, all i could say was WOW. The case is made beautifully, and all I could smell was the great leather when i opened it and i could tell it was a quality case. However, after about an hour of use, i realized its flaws. First off, it reall6y doesnt offer the best protection. I had an invisible shield on the back of my phone which i had to remove because the fit was so tight that i had to fight with it for hours to finally get it out. The fit is still quite tight, but atleast managable. This is not a case for people who like to dock their phone/ipod. After I took my iS off, then i realized that it covered up like half the speaker and the microphone. It doesnt seem to make that big of a difference, but still, i feel they could have avoided this.

After a few days of use, i actually liked this case a lot....untill i dropped my phone. I was walking in my schools parking lot and i tripped over loose gravel and sent my phone flying thorugh the air. I picked it up and thought that it would be okay, and then i checked it out and some rock cut this huge gash into my case. My phone is fine, but i still wish this didnt happen. I guess its not he cases fault, but i think that the case should be stronger. I only dropped it once and there is a huge gas in it already. I fixed this however (kinda atelast), by super gloooing the gou8ged part down and then using a similar color green sharpie marker to color in the parts were white was showing (the leather is only green on the outside, duh). Overall not a bad solution, covers it up a lot.

Overall i like the case a lot, but it is honestly only for looks. It doesnt offer a great deal of protection (unless your REALLY into protecting your apple logo), and it isnt the best bargain for the price. If you are into fashion, or want a great case that works well with a belt clip, then this is for you. If you want superior protection, then you should probably go with something else. If you really want a vaja case, they have recently came out with a holster with a front flap that offers 100% more protection (DANG).
