major help needed!!

 so

I bought my phone tuesday

I activated it

then had to deactivate it because i accidently registered as a new AT&T user instead of a preexisting one

so I brought it to cingular,
they deactivated it,
gave me a new sim card
and told me to go home and reactivate it the same way I did before

so i did that

except now fir some reason when ever i hook my phone to the computer and open iTunes it doesnt read any device's

It isnt connecting with my phone

I have called 1800-my-iPhone numerous times... they all stay on the phone with me for a half an hour put me on hold and then leave me there and never come back,

so I can only guess they dont know what to do...

any one her able to help me?

should i go back to cingular and ask them whats up?

or could there be something wrong with my USB cable? or maybe the port?

should I just trying switching computers?
but if that is it why did it work the firt time?

any thign you can say to help would be GREATLY appreciated

I dont want to have spent all this moeny on my phone for nothing.:(

Ignore that idiotic comment. Anyways that sounds like a computer issue to me. If you are using a pc, try a different usb port because sometimes one of pc's usb port can be producing 3 volts, and not full 5 needed for the iphone. Also make sure you have the latest itunes installed. Regardless of your contract situation itunes will find your iphone. Also try a different computer.
