$299 Sweet!

So I picked up my 4gig iPhone yesterday from the AT&T store for $299. Had to go out of my way to find a store that still had one in stock, but man was it worth it. Glad I waited to see what Apple was going to offer in terms of new iPods.

Well I certainly would have preferred the 8gig model I would have also preferred a 160gig model. Who wouldn't want more? But the way I look at it, it's not a replacement for my iPod, it's a replacement for my cell phone, which doesn't have anywhere near the kind of storage this thing has. So I'm happy.

Anyone else able to pick up this sweet deal?

my uncle picked me up a 4gb one for 299 in the states...all i have to do is pay 300cnd and he will cover the exchange and taxes...

im using it for a wifi/ipod device until its easier to hack and use with rogers

I did some thinking today and decided to give the local AT&T store a call and they ran my credit and it came back with no deposit and have four 4GB iPhones left. Think I should go for it?

Absolutely. Unless you think an extra 4gig is worth $100 more to you. But I would go fast if I were you, they're bound to sell out quick.

Nope, the 4GB is good and my 160GB iPod will be here from Apple shortly. The 4GB would be used to carry some of my tunes with so that I have something with me for like when I'm in a doctor's waiting room.

I went and played with the iPhone today at AT&T and as much as I despise AT&T as my home carrier, tomorrow when the guy with whom I promised to buy the phone off, I'm getting the 4GB iPhone.
