Harman/kardon Drive + Play With The Classic

is the drive + play compativle witht the ipod classic?

It is currently working with my 3g nano the same as it worked with my 5.5g video

I have a new classic 80GB that works with the old drive + play. The only complaint is that the sound is very compressed. I'm using the drive + play to control my ipod and a cassette adapter to listen. I've sent HK support a message about this issue and hope they have an answer.
