If jailbreak on PC can I sync with my MAC?

I am new to this whole process and I have a PC and an older Mac (PPC) so my question is pretty much in my title, but right now I have my ipod touch synced with my PPC so if I jailbreak on the PC does that actually change anything about syncing? thanks in advance.
