Sennheiser cans/ ue5s
I'm looking for some closed or semi-closed (not much sound leak) cans. I absolutely love grado's but they're incredibly loud when you're near them, so I want something like grado sound, hopefully less than 150$.
It's either that or Ultimate Ears' 5 pro. They're dual driver, has anyone used them and would recommend them?

I love UE 5 pro's I also have a pair of sn 595's that are great. I would go with UE 5 pro's for in ear. I use them on my motorcycle all the time and they are great. Don't have to turn them up to ear blowing level to hear then with lots of noise around.
Shameless

Check out the Sennheiser HD 25-1 recabled with HD580/600 or 650 cables. They compare favorably with my SR225's.

my UE 5EB's stink. the midrange is too unpredicatable. The lead singer is singing from two miles away and the backing vocals are screaming down your ear. the ear buds are far too big and heavy, and the supporting wire cuts into the top of your ears.

out of my 35 or so headphones, these are simply one of the worst, and for the price they are the worst......they stink.
The HD 25-1's are good, with a......strong clamping effect. The HD25-1 are good for cutting out ambient noise, without all that noise canceling technology. I haven't tried the HD cable mod, i guess it would require turning the drivers upside down, a quick and easy process.
