Shure SE210

Got my pair today. Wearing them as we speak. Got the right buds on and all I can is "Wow."
Really pleased with them since I had EC2's to begin with and fell out with them when they kept falling out.

How much did you pay for them?

I bought a pair yesterday to try them out from the apple store for 150, and I don't think that's a good asking price at all. I actually hated them, I like the ety 6i's for 80$ better. Is this your first pair of headphones? Cuz they sure are better than the apple packins.

Hmmm I guess the e2c's are larger. You got small ears or something?

I use e2c's. How do the new shures compare? Got mine replaced for free last week due to a cable problem. They have since changed the cables to TPE rather than PVC so it should not happen again. I was wondering if what differences there are in isloation and sound?

Thinking about some ety's to make a change, but then im just headphone mad.

I just went from the e2c to the SE110 and then finally to the SE210. I found very little difference between the e2c and the SE110. I find the SE210 clearer at the high end and better on bass than the e2c. I never used the foams with the e2c because I didn't want to replace them all the time. The foams for the new Shures are non-absorbent so they don't retain any wax build-up and they isolate better than the rubber tips from the e2c.

I recommend the SE210's although I have to say that I haven't heard many of the competitors like UE or Vmoda.

I did try a pair of the bose in-ear at the apple store and they were very muddy with no clear high end. Yuck. Although I commend Bose for providing a demo pair and many fresh ear-pieces so folks can try them before they buy. I wish more headphone makers did that.

I paid 70. Which is about $140 I believe. I have had Shure heaphones before.

I had the:
Apple In Ear Headphones - Which were shocking, fell out alot, not comfortable and muddy sound.
Shure EC2's - Blew me away to begin with then began getting tiresome.
Now I have Shure SE210's - Blowing me away all over again.

I like them because they're smaller and almost half the weight of the EC2's at only 0.6oz.
I have quite small ears so they fit perfectly.
I was looking at buying some UE's, but I hated the cosmetic look of them sticking horizontally out of your ears. I mean, I want to listen to my music without looking like some kind of scientific experiment!
