Old apple earphones vs. new
Imagine your best set of earphones were stolen or broke, and the only options you had left were the old apple earphones and the new models that came with the 2g nano, 5.5g video, and the current line of iPods. Which would you choose?
I ask this purely because with my current set on the verge of dying, I'm stuck with an old pair and a new pair of the pack-ins. I haven't touched the new ones, and the old ones are working just fine. However, even if I were to test them, I probably wouldn't be able to tell which is better. So, for anyone who has compared the two, which is the best choice?

I still have perfectly functioning ones of both. I can't stand the originals for anything other than spoken word but find the new version *acceptable*. I still think they're very poor compared to what you can get, but if you were happy the originals, you'd probably be slap happy with them ;)
