Rain

ok so... I left my sunroof open (it was a sunny day at the time), then a nice little rain cloud decided to come and drop some rain through my sunroof, onto my ipod. I tried to dry it off and it was working for a little while after. The click wheel no longer works. Everything else about the ipod works, just no response from the click wheel whatso ever.
Do you guys think a new click wheel and its electronics would solve the problem or is it something more than that?
Thanks!

lol @ u =]

basically the clickwheel's lost all hope, and at around $90 a pop, self-installation is DEFINITELY not worth it.

best bet is to leave it out on a dry towel for about two days and then try to use it again

well this happened a couple weeks ago so its all said and done.

click wheels are really 90 bucks? wow. i was thinkin like 30 tops. that sucks.

well i took my ipod apart and took the click wheel out and it'd be real easy to pop a new one in. it would save me 100+ bucks from buying a new one.
