Brightness -- Whats Yours

What do you have your brightness at
and does it jurastically affect how long battery charge lasts for?

I have mine at about 10% for 2 seconds. If I know I've got plenty of juice to last me until I get home (when I'm at work) I sometimes set it to be on permanently (again at about 10%), but when I'm going to be out of the house for maybe 12 hours on a working day, I don't want it on that setting from 7am otherwise it'll never last the day!

Mine is at the default setting of 50%. I'm gonna go change it now & try to get a lower percent but still a good view.

Mine is set at about 30% in a 5th Gen 80GB..it was all the way down when I had my classic.

No it doesn't make that big of a difference, the backlight timer will make a considerable difference though I recommend changing it to 2 or 5 seconds rather than the default 10.

Wow I thought I had my setting low. Didn't know that people had theirs even lower. I think im going to go #### with it and see what kind of battery life brightness trade off I can get from it.
