OK. I've heard from many people (including some Apple employees) that the recording devices available for iPod are not great. Nevertheless, I'm hoping someone can help me out.

I need a tool to record music rehearsals. Since I have an iPod, I would prefer to use it in lieu of purchasing a digital voice recorder. I tried the Griffin iTalk with my old iPod (3G), and it was horrible. Have they gotten better?

Please help me figure out if there are any decent options for iPod!!!!
