Cannot turn off
I have a problem with my 80gb video Ipod.
I cannot turn it off. has anyone experianced this issue and can you offer some advice.

The click wheel can be a little touchy. Of course, make sure the Hold switch is off. If a track is playing, pause it (>||); let it sit for second or two, with fingers off the click wheel; firmly press >|| (no sliding) and hold until screen goes off, should be about 4-6 seconds.S2_Mac at 2007-11-15 12:10:51 >

thanks for the reply.I sould have said I have had the Ipod since last Jan. with no issues.
Even if I stop playing the current track and start playing a new one it still refuses to turn off.

Have you tried resetting the iPod? Hold Menu & center button until iPod reboots.S2_Mac at 2007-11-15 12:12:50 >
