I cannot get the calendar or contacts to sync with the iPod classic. I'm using Windows XP and Outlook 2003. Syncrhonization to my iPhone works just fine, but not to the classic. I have enabled the options, which do show in iTunes. It gives me an option to sync one or both of my calendars, but no selection combination works.

At the suggestion of Apple, I restored the iPod (ouch). I immediately syncrhonized my contacts, which WORKED several times. (Calendar did not work.) I made changes in Outlook, and watched them show up on the classic. I synced the iPhone for good measure.

However, as soon as I loaded my songs and videos, my contacts disappeared, never to return again.

Each time it shows it's synching contacts, when I have it turned on, but they never show up. The calendar has never worked.

Does anyone else have calendar and contacts working on the classic with Windows?
