Ipod Classic - One band, One album - no title?

I have just upgraded from 4g to 160Gb Classic and so far very impressed, one thing that's bugging me though, if I have an artist that just has one album when I click on that artist it goes straight to the list of songs on that album without showing the album title, cover art etc (Artist>Tracklist)... If an artist has multiple albums, I get to see the album titles, cover art etc.. and select them from there.

Am I being stupid or is this the way it is? I haven't got my old ipod to check but sure it did this (artist>album title>tracklist) even when there was only a single album.

That's really annoying, is there no way to change this and get the album title displayed?

I agree, it is slightly annoying, but at the end of the day, you have to admit it is logical and does make sense. Apple are just trying to do what the majority would think is logical.

It's as annoying as the "headphone detector" in the headphone jack. If you have a slightly faulty headphone set, it will pause constantly. Some love it, some hate it, but I just wish I could turn it off.

When you think about it, it really does make sense since where else are you going to go?

I agree in a way its logical, like you say - where else can you go? BUT say I have an album by Frank Zappa and I want to get another one, there is no way of telling at a glance of the ipod what album I own without comparing tracklists, looking at the Itunes Library etc... It is a small thing, but it niggles me......
