After our computer crashed we salvaged the hard drive and are now using it as an external on the new computer. We installed Itunes on the new machine and I had a ton of problems getting the music library to the new computer. I used an Ipod to computer software program and finally started from scratch using the import function to import from the old hard drive. I tried so many things it is a blur now. I think I finally have the music libary moved and working properly. Video is another story. Purchased TV shows that I imported show up in the IPod directory properly. New downloaded video podcasts show up in the music library. Both the TV shows and video podcasts play on the Ipod but not on the TV even though I am using the correct procedures that I successfully played video on the TV before with. I get the audio but not the video. I am thinking it has something to do the way our new setup on the computer is storing the files or something to do with the way they were transferred.
