classic fits in iHome?

does the classic fit perfect in the iH8 iHome? and does anybody why does the iHome site sell the older models for the same price as the new models? Is it better or worst? thanks

I have the iHome model you mentioned. It has pretty good sound quality for both FM and iPod. As for the classic fitting, I don't see why it wouldn't. The iHome came with dock adapters for the 4G, 5G, and 1G nano (it didn't come with an adapter for the mini, but I ordered that after I got the unit). The pics I've seen seem to show the classic comes with a dock adapter; so I think it could work.hoshieBIOTpod at 2007-11-15 12:11:29 >
