Songs/Videos stop playing randomly and skip to the next

I have an 80G Classic. I've noticed that some songs and videos will stop playing usually at the same point in the song or video and will advance to the next song. I wondered if it is an issue with the actual files but after loading them onto my Ipod Mini 4Gb and they worked I realized that it must be a Classic problem. Has anyone else found this problem or solutions to it?

I've had the same problem with certain songs on some albums.The same thing also happens when the screen goes into a power-saving mode.. and towards the end of the current track, it will start to stutter and instead of going to the next track, it completely skips over to the track after the next. Weird stuff.

Yeah I wonder what the deal is. I've been looking through the forums and I haven't found many people with a similar issue. Maybe I'll need to get it replaced.chirpa12 at 2007-11-15 12:12:21 >
