connecting one ipod to 2 computers??

i am trying to connect my ipod to a second computer (work desktop) and it is telling me that the ipod is in recovery mode and i need to restore it. i don't want to do that obviously, b/c i want to listen to the music on it. i am not trying to put the tunes onto the second computer, just wanting to play them off the ipod through the computer speakers. is this possible?

-looked through the FAQ and didn;t see this in there. if i missed it i am sorry.

It is because the drive being assigned to the iPod is a network drive on your PC.

Go to administrative tools->computer management->Disk Management and change the drive letter of the ipod to one that is not in use.

If you don't know how to do that Apple has a guide in their help section.
