Marware Sportsuit Convertible 1st Look

Just received the Sportsuit Convertible for my Nano (w/video). I generally agree with the iLounge review. My case also had mis-aligned holes for headphones and the hold switch. This is a manufacturing problem which Marware should fix!. Using the clickwheel through the clear plastic is not great but it works. Again, a little more design effort here could have resulted in a great product.

I'm pleased overall with the quality of the materials. The attachment mechanism for the belt clip, handstrap, and armband works fine but does require a pointed instrument (like the heaphone plug) to remove attachments from the case. I like the fact that the nano can be carried without any clips for pocket use.

The nano case itself appears to provide very good protection from rain, dust, dings and other scratch-makers you might have in your pocket, purse, or carrying case. I'd say it's more water-resistant than water-proof. The top of the case where the neoprene and clear plastic connect does slightly obsure the top left and right corners of the the Nano screen...not significantly but enough to make you move the case very slightly to tell the time. Not a big deal unless you watch alot of videos...it could then be bothersome.

It shines as a versatile athletic armband, handstrap, belt-clipped, or pocket friendly case.
