Experiences Ordering from Switcheasy
I just want to let everyone know my experience with the company called Switcheasy regarding their Black Biscuit 3G nano case.
I ordered my case September 26th, based on the excellent review here on iPod Lounge. My credit card was duly charged September 26th for the full amount. However, I never received it in due course, even after several emails back and forth with the company.
So, here it is October 17th, and STILL no case. I have just now emailed Switcheasy telling them to refund my credit card, and I will be contacting my bank tomorrow to ensure this has been done.
They are absolutely the WORST company I have ever dealt with when ordering on-line. As a matter of fact, I have never had so much as a hint of a problem with on-line shopping before. And Switcheasy has the nerve to blame Canada Post. I'm quite sad about the whole experience as I have recently had surgery and wanted to enjoy my new nano in its new case as I recuperated.
Have others has similar experiences with on-line vendors?

I ordered mine on Oct. 8th. Got a package on the 12th. Unfortunately, someone had forgotten to actually put the Biscuit in the envelope. I sent a PM to Steve Bau and he took care of it right away. I got my Black Biscuit today. So far, I'm really digging it. My experience has been pretty positive. Would it have been better if I had received my case in the first shipment? Definitely. But they took care of the problem very quickly and with no hassle. I've had problems with other major online retailers too (Amazon, TigerDirect) but this was much less painful.
MCSquared - Sucks that your experience has not been as good. I think you would have liked the case if you had received it. Who knows, maybe there is an issue w/Canada Post. Here in the States, I've had several Netflix DVDs disappear before they got to me in the mail. I'm sure there's someone from the US post office watching them now or has sold them. Hope you're feeling better after your surgery. Enjoy your nano regardless!

I also had a horrible experience with this company.
They would not communicate with me! they wouldn't return my emails etc.
I finally received an envelope with 2 RunAways in it (a different product which I didn't want). No biscuit!!!
After all the emails I sent, I finally used paypal to create a claim and finally get a refund. It was ridiculous though. I recommend giving your money to a more customer-friendly company.

I have to say that I had a totally different experience with them. I ordered on 10/4 and they were backordered for four days. During that four days I received three emails from them and when the biscuit arrived (red) they also included one of their Nike+ holders as a bonus for waiting during the delay. This appears to be a small company that got overwhelmed with orders for their product. The product itself is well worth the wait with the exception of the click wheel cover which I wasn't going to install anyhow. I work for small company so I may have more understanding than some of the other posters how large orders like this can disrupt the normal flow of business. Now that they have things in stock I would suggest giving them another chance. The product is well worth it. Just my two cents.
