New iSkin for new iPods

From much of the research I have done and what I have heard from people, it looks like iSkin makes the best iPod cases. According to their website, cases for the new iPods are coming soon. I might get one and while they may be relatively pricey for cases, everyone raves about them having the perfect balance of protection, style, comfort, etc. Does anyone have any thoughts on iSkin's existing or upcoming products?

I'm using the 30 gb 5 gen one for my new 80 gig 6th gen and it works great. I really do think it's one of the best cases becuase it covers up most of the ipod. the only part that isn't covered is the headphone port. other silicone cases i've seen have not covered the wheel, the hold switch, the data port. not only that but it looks really nice. I do have an annoying problem with the new ipod with the case is that it makes scrolling the wheel more difficult and that coupled with the menus being slow makes it unusable. Hopefully the new firmware update will help this

So does the new firmware (along with an iSkin) make the new ipods more responsive?

I currently have an iPod Photo with an iSkin and absolutely love them both. I am thinking of getting a new Classic 160GB, but want to with for a new iSkin for it.

i just tried the new firmware with the iskin and it's the same, really unresponsive. The sensativity of the wheel doesn't work well with the silicone wheel cover. I'm sure they did something about this with the new iskins that will be coming out.

You can't tell by looking at the new pictures at iskin.com, but I would think they would fix the hold button problem. From what I've seen of the old ones, it looks like the text and symbols on the clickwheel cover are protruding slightly? If so, I would think that would be annoying to the fingers. Maybe the new ones will be smooth?

the hold button isn't even a problem anymore. i've used an iskin with the 5th gen, 5.5 gen and the 6th gen and i'm using the 5 gen case on the new one and it's really easy. I think it was the actual ipod causing the problem. Each time Apple has made a new ipod it's been easier to use the switch. I remember on the 5th gen the hold switch was flush with the top of the ipod and unless it had been a bit since I cut my nails, I'd have to ask someone with nails to do it, and yeah, the symbols are slightly raised, but it's never bothered me.

it looks like they got rid of the raised symbols on the new one after just looking at the site but you never know
