ISKIN EVO3 Compatible with 80 GB iPod Classic

I just got an 80 GB iPod Classic. When I "chatted" with someone from the Apple Store they told me that the ISKIN EVO3 was compatible with iPod Classic; therefore, I ordered the ISKIN EVO3 from the Apple Store, and it should be here on Tuesday. Tonight, I stumbled onto the ISKIN website, and they state that the ISKIN EVO3 is not compatible with the "new iPods released September 2007". Does anyone know if the ISKIN EVO3 is compatible with 80 GB iPod Classic?

The eVo3 will fit well with the iPod Classic 80GB (I have both), but the only problem is that due to decreased sensitivity of the Classic's clickwheel, it will be unresponsive through the cover on the iSkin case. My solution was to take a sharp knife and cut out that part of the case. That worked well and aesthetically it didn't look bad.

I have since gone with a Best Skins Ever skin and don't use the eVo anymore. Unfortunately, I found the skin part for the clickwheel also interfered with use and had to remove it. I think it going to be a challenge for companies to come up with a cover that works well with the 6G wheel.

I got the new iPod classic iskin from CoverCase and it fits fine. I have the 160GB and the clickwheel works as well. They have the iskin and covercase skin for the classic. I got the the eclipse iSkin and Red covercase. The covercase comes with screen protector and stand which I like but the quality on iSkin classic is better.

The eVo3 for the 30GB iPod Video fits the Classic 80GB and the eVo3 for the 80GB iPod video fits the 160GB Classic.

I just bought the evo4 designed for the ipod classic 80gb. It's very hard to get the evo4 to fit on the ipod and my headphones keep popping out of the jack. I'm returning the evo4 and just bought a 30GB evo3 instead based on these posts.
