Cheap iPod Socks?

I will be getting my new 8GB iPod Nano Monday, and want to go ahead and buy a case for it. I don't want something that snaps onto the iPod, but something that my iPod can slip into, like the iPod Socks. Apple's iPod Socks are $30, which is a bit too expensive for something so simple. Does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives?

I bought a set of FIVE socks at Radio Shack for $4.21 with tax. You have to stretch them a bit, but the 3G nano does fit into them. At least it's something cheap to protect it until some good cases are available.

I found these knockoffs for $10 at Gamestop. They are the same colors as the original iPod socks, but they are about as big as the 5g ipod. Oh well. I plan on buying an InvisibleSheild for my new Nano soon. Has anyone any pictures of the chrome back with an invisiblesheild?

$5.88 for literally the EXACT same thing as the apple iPod socks at walmart. they were samsonite, came in all the exact same colors as the apple ones. the difference? the apple socks have a small tag with an apple logo stitched to them. you're paying $30 for that apple logo. go for the walmart socks :)

We just had a baby a few weeks ago. Right after I bought my nano 3g, it hit me. Try a newborn sock. It fits perfectly!
