Speaker recommendation

Hi guys,
Based on sound quality, would you recommend the JBL Onstage II or the Logitech mm50?
Thanks! :)

I have both. The MM50 has a bit better bass. The JBL has better mids and treble. Everyone has their own opinion on sound. I think I would choose the JBL.

I would check out the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere. It's replacing the mm50. I've been waiting for this since it was announced. All of the reviews, including on iPodLounge, is very positive.

I just bought the memorex mi 1111 at Target for $100, but at the store I noticed that the JBL radial micro sounded brighter. Still, both were ok at ear level, and the memorex was $50 cheaper and had the cd player, so I brought it home.

Now I listen to it on the kitchen counter and it sounds flat, and adjusting the bass and treble controls just makes it either boomy or tinny.

Do you think the JBL would sound better? I am a bass player and need a decent bass response.

For bass I recommend the Sonic T24 (which I own and use everyday in my office) or the Griffin Amplifi which I have heard and sounds much bigger than it is. I also like the bass response of the Klipsch products like the 2 piece Promedia Ultra 2.0

or the Igroove SXT

or the Igroove HG.

If you're into bass, I wouldn't recommend the On Stage. Unless they've upgraded the drivers in the new model, my original On Stage doesn't like bass very much. I have to turn off the bass boost (which I use when I'm learning a song), or I get vibrations.
