2.02 XtremeMac Luna

Well, my XtremeMac Luna got here, and it's a 2.02 (sigh)... I wouldn't mind, the FM reception is acceptable to me, but I have a probably and I don't know if it's related to the 2.02 version or not...

I'm using a 1st Gen 4gb Nano with it. Now, my main probably seems to be, the pause button on the remote only about 1/4 of the way works. Sometimes when I press it, it will pause the song playing, however if I press it again, it will not continue to play as it should... It will come up on the main LCD of the Luna "Pause Play" or "Play Pause" whichever it is, but it has no effect... And of course, holding the pause button down on the remote turn the iPod off...

Anyone know what the problem is? Should I send the Luna back?

I'm thinking my Nano might have no old firmware version, so I'm going to check that...

Just checked and my Nano is version 1.2... Not sure what current on 1st gen is.

My Luna does that sometimes with my 5.5G iPod.

I've not really nailed down the pattern as to what causes it. But, when it does, I pause the iPod manually, take the iPod out, and put it back in.

Then the Luna controls work correctly.

I've found that if I turn the iPod on and make sure it's on pause before putting it in the Luna's dock, then the remote controls work 99% of the time.

Not sure this helps. But you're not alone.
