iPod Classic (160 gig) with iHome (IH6)

Has anyone here had problems with their iPod Classic and iHome 6?

The alarm functionality works fine with my iPod 30 gig Video. But when I docked my iPod Classic (160 gig), it would try to play the music from the Classic but after 10 seconds, it would eventually just play the backup buzzer.

bummer. I guess just another reason to chalk up for me not getting a new classic.

won't work with my iHome
no cool speakers menu with my Hi-Fi
no video out with my Apple Universal dock unless I buy their special cable.
have to rebuy my games

so far, nothing I've seen besides an increase in capacity warrants the upgrade to a new iPod.
