I am in the market for a new iPod speaker system, and couldn't help noticing all the great reviews of the Logitech AudioStation. Unfortunately I also noticed several technical issues that users have had with random units. In many cases, it seems that these units come from a couple of specific retailers.

I just stumbbled on an incredible price for this unit at Tiger Direct (after Logitech rebate), but am concerned about moving forward with a purchase because of the above mentioned technical issues.

I was wondering if anyone has picked up one of these units from Tiger Direct, and had success, or problems?

I noticed a couple things about the deal:

1) The rebate is directly through Logitech (a good thing), but good only for units purchased through Tiger Direct (maybe a bad thing).

2) I noticed the following disclaimer at the bottom of the page:

"This Product Has Limited Exchange Privileges.
Only defective exchanges for identical item within 30 days of purchase permitted on this product. After 30 days, please contact the manufacturer at..."

Any thoughts?
