i'm using a 3G ipod on a laptop with win2k and usb, and i've been having some problems. first of all, my ipod will randomly disconnect and reconnect, making transferring songs a nightmare.
on top of that i recently upgraded my ipod to 2.1. when i tried to transfer some songs after that (using ephpod) my ipod disconnected itself in the middle of the transfer. now all my songs have disappeared, although they're still taking up space on my ipod. does anyone know what i can do to fix this, aside from reformatting? i've tried doing the menu+play reset method, but that doesn't do anything. thanks.
