You're iPod is only a start. I think most people end up buying quite the number of accessories and add-ons. First, and (to me, anyway) one of the most important things to consider is a better case than the one Apple ships with it. (Can't remember if the 20 comes with a case or not...if not, you haven't missed much).

As for which case to get, you'll get twice the number of suggestions as the number of people you ask. I keep three...the Contour Showcase as a day-to-day all purpose case...the iPod Armor as hostile/extreme condition protection...and an iVod as a dress-up sort of case. These are by no means the limits of your choices. You could easily spend several thousands buying all the available cases. Do a search of the forum and you'll find a few hundred different discussions upon which is best. Pick your own flavour.

My iTrip works reasonably well. It won't sound as good as if you had cabled your Pod directly to an input on your radio. But, for what it is meant to be (a quick and easy way to listen in the car with minimum fuss and bother) it does its job. Many otheres hereabouts don't think much of it, though. Possibly their expectations were higher?

As for speakers, I've no personal experiences. However, FWIW, I've an associate who boiught the InMotion speakers and seems to love them.
