USB2 card adapters?

hello,
any advice on USB2 card adapters? is Belkin the way to go?
currently using a USB1.1 port on a laptop and want to get faster synchs
plus I'm getting that nasty "drive door open" vortex now
gen 3 ipod - XP

I'm using a cheep Dlink card that I got at the Freys and I havn't had any problems with it
