Hooray, finally got a new iPod

First requested repair on 27/01, and the TNT man just delivered a replacement unit! Someone asked me to post when it came back (can't remember who though, and of course the original thread is gone). At last I can put my MD portable and 128MB flash player away again :)

I've had mine back for about a week now. One question though. I live in the UK but with my first Ipod not working I don't know how loud it was. Now with this new one I can't listen to it over 60% without it being too loud for me, so do Apple replace them with models without the EU volume cap?

Also off topic, I've just had to reregister using the same E-mail address, has anyone here had their account deleted?

The server crashed, so all posts were lost since Jan. 1. If you registered between Jan. 1st and like Feb. 15, you would have to make a new account.

Adam, could you paste your Repair Status Detail screen into here please?

Mine's just got an Order Created one added today, which is good I guess, there's also another been added today but its blank (shrugs).

Cheers.

My repair status has finally changed from 'Service Request on Hold' to 'Ready to Dispatch' after a long 20 minute call this afternoon. Supposed to dispatch the new unit tomorrow, whether they do remains to be seen!
